Why it's worth covering
The niche is empty
Digital table hockey barely exists on Steam — and nobody does it as a party game. The tabletop classic, digitized and weaponized.
12 players, one screen
Most couch games stop at 4. Atomic Hockey seats a full 6v6 living-room league around a single screen.
Made to be clipped
Ticking pucks, portal own-goals and stacked power-up combos generate the reactions and highlights that party-game content thrives on.

Purple Dragon Studios is a small independent game studio from the Czech Republic, founded in 2026. The studio builds fast, friendly local-multiplayer party games in Godot. Its first title, Atomic Hockey, brings the classic rod-hockey table to Steam — and straps a bomb to the puck.
Atomic Hockey is designed, coded and marketed by one person — Filip Kráčmar, a marketer by profession who co-founded the board game publisher FATboardgames and designed the board game Statera. Read the full story →
